Rafts uses your account and workspace information to provide the editing and rendering service.

Information you provide

We process your account details, workspace and project content, uploaded footage, Blueprints, and rendered videos. For each footage upload, we also record the usage-rights status you select and your description of where the footage came from.

How it is used

We use this information to store and process media, show project previews, compile Blueprints, render videos, and apply workspace access and export rules. Media processing may use storage and worker services that operate the product.

Access to media

Project media is associated with its workspace. Access depends on the workspace roles assigned to members. Download links are generated for authorized requests and expire.

Source retention

Source footage is kept until you delete it unless you choose a 30-day, 90-day, or one-year retention period for that file. Scheduled deletion waits while a saved Blueprint or active job uses the file. Deleting a source removes its stored media and source description from active project records. Rendered outputs, job records, and audit events are separate records and are not removed by source deletion.
