The short version
By using Rafts you're agreeing to these terms. The big points: you have to be 13 or older, you keep ownership of your videos, we provide the service "as is," and subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
These Terms are between you and Rafts, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Rafts," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Rafts (the iOS app and rafts.app), you agree to these Terms.
If you don't agree, don't use Rafts.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rafts. If you're in a jurisdiction with a higher minimum age for digital consent (16 in much of the EU), that higher age applies.
If you're using Rafts on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You're responsible for:
Tell us at hello@rafts.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
When using Rafts, you agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You own your content. Uploading a video for analysis doesn't transfer ownership to us.
You grant Rafts a limited license to process your video for the analysis you requested, store the resulting feedback and thumbnail, and run pattern detection across your analyses. This license exists only so we can provide the service. It ends when you delete the content or your account.
The feedback Rafts produces is generated for you. You're free to use it personally — internal notes, planning, sharing with collaborators. You may not resell or redistribute Rafts-generated feedback as a competing product or service.
The Rafts app, brand, design, and code are our property and protected by intellectual property law.
Rafts offers a free tier and two paid tiers (Rafts Pro and Rafts Studio).
Free tier
Rafts Pro
Rafts Studio
Paid subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase and managed by Apple.
If we change pricing, we'll notify you before your next renewal. Continued use after the change means you accept the new price.
We aim to keep Rafts available, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for material changes.
Rafts is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the feedback will be accurate or produce any particular outcome for your content.
The feedback Rafts produces is informational, not a guarantee of performance. We don't predict virality, audience response, or algorithmic results. Creative decisions are yours.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rafts, LLC and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of Rafts.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Rafts is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. Where they don't, the law of your jurisdiction prevails.
You agree to indemnify Rafts, LLC against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service. This doesn't apply to claims caused by our own willful misconduct or gross negligence.
You can stop using Rafts at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Delete account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continuing your use would expose us to legal risk. We'll give notice where reasonable.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Delaware, unless local law in your country requires otherwise.
If we change these Terms materially, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
